Hello All- Since I was suspicious that my Gideon was going to drop tonight, since he is an unregulated bouncer, I awoke to test at +7 after his PM dose of Lantus. He was happily testing on a couch, putting when he saw me. He tested at 44. I did not panic, but fed him one teaspoon 15% carb Fancy Feast. Knowing he is carb sensitive, and the fact that that may have been his nadir, I was confident he would be rising. I retested in 30 minutes, and he was 97. Just to make sure he continued to rise, I waited another 20 mins and he is 176. Since the minutes seemed to go slow, I reread the yellow sticky posts for what to do for hypos. I am glad I have the historical data on GIDEON, or else I would have panicked. Thank you group! Going back to bed, and hoping my boy's bounces will become less extreme, and he can get regulated.
