Good day today, I’m a bit worried that he’s not eating enough. The last 3 days he’s just not interested eating, it has been less than half what he usually does. We started putting down half portions because we we throwing so much out and he barely finishes. He is eating a bit when he feels like it but he used to beg for meals. I’m hoping it’s because his numbers have been lower?

The ravenous hunger they feel in higher numbers does come down significantly when they start seeing lower numbers. Does he look unwell? Is he eating the number of calories he needs in a day?
 
No he looks fantastic! He’s moving about better, he was actually hopping around when I played with him today. His coat is gorgeous, the best it has ever looked even before the DM. I think it is more his schedule that has changed although he is eating way less. He only seems interested in the morning and at night, I’m just so used to him begging for food. We need to get used to the new normal. He is getting just enough over the course of a day but he could still gain a bit of weight, not much just a touch. He was 20lbs before DM but he was a bit of a chunk. He went all the way down to 10lbs, he is up to 13.9lbs which is so good. We were thinking 15 would be his ideal weight but honestly typing it out I think he is good where he is. I’m gonna keep an eye on his weight and make sure he doesn’t loose any.
So happy with his numbers! No yellows today :cool:
