9/1 Chloe - AMPS 126 | PMPS 111; poor appetite

Higher AMPS this morning, and she wasn't interested in food. But I also didn't pick up her overnight food dishes until it was almost shot time, so there's a distinct probability that she snacked this morning on what was left out.

Another day of not eating well. Gave her some Cerenia this afternoon when I got home. One more day of the Clavamox, but I don’t think her infection is clear. We’ll find out Friday for sure.

It's probably the Clavamox messing with her appetite. Do you want to try a different antibiotic? I think you can give both Ondem and Cerenia for nausea - if that's what's affecting her appetite.

Yes Bhoona. You can give both cerenia and ondansetron. They work in different ways. Ondansetron works better for nausea most find. It can be given every 8 hours.

As usual, she ate well for the second meal. There was also a VERY large… evacuation in the litter box this evening and that might have been making her uncomfortable.

We go back Friday for a recheck and hopefully a different med.
