Sorry for the late-night post. I have been meaning to drop in and say hello but had an elderly dog who wasn't doing very well. We had to help him cross the Rainbow Bridge today, so my emotions have gone from the highest of highs with Max on Saturday to the lowest of lows today with our dog, Bandit, today(ugh, I have always hated Mondays). I have to thank Bandit for giving me the time to celebrate with Max, though. But, I have yet to add Max's OTJ video to my signature.

I just wanted to see if my brain is still functioning...I think I was told to test Max weekly for a month, and then monthly for the rest of his kitty years - and /or anytime he seems 'off'. Is this sound advice? I have no issues testing (although he may not be so happy returning to ear sticks), but don't want to over test OR under test. This is our first trip over the Falls, and I'd like to stay as long as possible.

ABSOLUTELY! Not only will it give you BG reading but could let you know (if numbers rise) an infection is brewing.

    CONGRATULATIONS!

I am VERY sorry to hear about Bandit. May his spirit stay close. :bighug:
