Good evening,

after a night with a long blue stretch we had a super bounce today. Even though I know that very often > 500 on the libre is less on the handheld, I am not happy about it. I hope she slides down gently tonight.

Tomorrow morning I will increase to 2 IU even though everything inside myself is twisting and turning not do so. But I can only find out if it is a good idea if I give it a try. And I'll be home next week most of the time, so it is a good time to test.

I hope I can catch more blue numbers on the handheld next week. Last night I catched a compression low. The interesting thing is, that the sensor corrected itself and erased the wrong numbers from the curve. The numbers which appeared in the end matched the results from the handheld.

I stayed awake because I hoped I might catch a real low blue but when there was one, Binie made clear that one poke was enough. So I was really tired today without any results.

Hi Heike, wishing you lots of luck with the increase. I know you are nervous. It’s so normal.
You will be home to keep her safe and you have the Libre watching what’s happening.
I’ll bet you will see more blues. And maybe even some green.
Just be ready with carbs to steer her curve. You will do great!!
