Awww thank you ladies!! Sorry, I had a few webinars... She’s still doing pretty great. Started eating a little less last night but that’s always been her MO in the evenings. I still don’t have to tube feed her except for the meds and additional water since she’s still taking the diuretics. First day off the antibiotics and all seems well. I keep checking her breathing like a neurotic mess LOL. The area around the feeding tube looked pretty much the same to me yesterday so I’ll just continue cleaning it daily and keeping an eye on it. I’m waiting now on the results of the culture to see if needs more antibiotics. Giving her probiotics to counter act all of that and placed the order with the compound pharmacy for the budesonide so hopefully it will get here quickly!

Ale sent me a PM this evening. Here are her questions. I'm not sure of the answers. Anyone else have an idea?

Those are really questions to ask in your public post Ale, so everyone can see the questions and the responses.

I don't know if the clavamox could be affecting the BG levels. Or if the pneumonia could be making a difference.

Liquid clavamox sometimes has sugars in it.

It was the chewable pill she was taking :bookworm:

but she’s also on liquid furosemide and clopidogrel which is the blood thinner

I just googled furosemide and apparently it can raise the BG levels in diabetic patients
