Yesterdays
Late with PM dose was reading all my notes lost track of time! 8:30pm instead of 8pm.

She never ate her 3am snack out of the automatic feeder. I was up until 2:30am.
After I gave her the shot tonight felt like a little bump under the skin. Is this because of the amount if insulin being injected?
Her ears are bothering her that is why I'm not testing so much. She is usually so good but now she is shaking her head. I just switched to the micro lancets. Maybe try the regular one tomorrow.
I see all those yellow numbers back when and I feel like I'm just going backwards.

This ailment is the worst because you will think you finally got something figured out and then next thing you know you’re posting on the message boards. This is a frustrating thing to try and get controlled but you can do it it just takes time with trial and error. I’ve had those with my Pika a lot. And I am no where near being regulated And it’s only been since February that I started my journey. And yes the small bump can be due to the insulin. It’s similar to when we receive a shot and you can feel the bump under your skin it takes the body a minute to absorb it in. And don’t beat yourself up over you living your life still and being late occasionally. I have to be late when I close from work so a few times a week. I know it’s not ideal but I still gotta work and pay the bills so I do what I can do. And you’re doing awesome! Don’t give up! It’s all worth it in the end no matter what!!

I've been through a lot of aliments with my animals over my many years, guess it frustrates me because I'm a diabetic and want her to be well and not feel like she used to be. I know my sister thought I was crazy when I said I'm going to treat the cat....I'm like ummmmm I have the same thing she does!

Thank you for your pep talk, something I needed. Actually made me cry. When I'm out all I can do it think about getting home on time to feed her, I worry she may go low.

That tiny air bubble is always at the top of the syringe. No matter how much I try to get it out it's always there. I figured that bump was because of the amount she is getting. I always rub the spot for her and tell her she's a good girl and she continues to eat. She never ever ran from the testing or the shot. I just noticed it bothers her ears lately I can relate we call it the Hokey Pokey stick em.

Guess I should knock wood and count myself lucky she does not throw ketones and she has a very healthy appetite and drinks the appropriate amount of water.
She had some markers for IBD but the only time she even got sick is when I tried to feed YAZ. To rich for her even though I started out on a teaspoon.

I'm going to talk to the vet about checking her for acromegaly or hyperadrenocorticism when we are due for her blood work.
