okay so I'm comfortable giving the modified doses when at 165/175 like a .5 unit.
if above 175 he's done well so far with 1U.

So is this sudden high fluctuation because he had several days so low?

Is this still a good process that if under 165 I really want to stay away from giving anything, and modified dose from about 165-185, and above that is 1U (vet had originally wanted 2U always)

it's been almost a month on vetsulin so I just want to make sure I'm doing this the best way possible for him.

Great numbers. Id love to see him hit closer to 85-110 at the lowest. If it were my cat I'd do 1 over 160 and 0.5 140-160 and maybe 0.25 130-140

If shooting under 165 makes you nervous maybe only do 0.25 when it's 145-165 until you are more comfortable with the numbers. Remember that normal on an alpha is 68-150 so you still have some room there.

Why did your skip when it was 278?

awesome thank you!!

So i fed his second meal way late at 415 pm, i normally do a pmps at 630, then feed then dose.

his number was so high I thought the late meal affected his number, because it was so much higher than any prior number..

I'm going to try your idea of how much to give at the different levels. thank you for the support
