Hi all!
I was hoping to get some insight on our next steps.

My vet instructed to stop insulin on the 15th (July). He was in .25 units, but I went down to .1 unit (just to the very first line on the syringe). I tried finding the diagram I had seen once about microdosing, but I couldn’t find it.

He had an anal gland issue about a month ago, which explains the raise in his BG at that time. He was prescribed antibiotics, but developed diarrhea and vomiting, so we discontinued them, and he went back to normal.

He’s been consistently eating 2 full cans of FF a day, with Young Again Mature kibble sprinkles on top, or a little as a snack in the early evening. I feel like we have a good feeding routine down, finally.

Any insight on our next steps would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all!

It's in the sticky on Insulin Care & Syringe Info: Proper Handling, Drawing, Fine Dosing

You want to try and feed a snack at +9 in both cycles to see if that gets rid of the blue preshots.
