BG numbers falling fast

So far, Bee's BG were high but since yesterday they came down really fast. I didn't change her diet or dose since last week. The only thing i did is giving her some Purebites at test times. Could it be because i shot the insulin the wrong way? What is happening She seem ok atm. I will do some testing after her PM dose tonight.

 

Those blue numbers are nice to see... Where are you now in the AM cycle? I think I'd try to get at least one more test in-- at +4, your last test, you probably aren't at the nadir yet.

 

+3 and +4 were both at 9.5 . I will do a +5 in a minute. Thanks

 

+5 is done at 9.3 Sorry, it was scary to see the BG drop so fast.

 

Oh, excellent. She's just bobbling along there in those nice numbers. She's not used to them, though, so be prepared for a "bounce" back up high-- perfectly normal.

As for why it happened today, who knows, she's a cat ! It may just be that this dose is starting to work for her, though, which is good progress!

Charleston's spreadsheet continues to look a lot like Bee's! We've got sugar kitty twins. Charleston dropped into the 100s for the first time today too (posted separately about it just now). Glad you're feeling less nervous!

I took The advice about using a little butter and I think that is the trick .

I know when Perry hears me take it out he runs, he is wize to me already Don't put to much butter on it or it will start to melt, just try to put it on one end so you can hold the end that's dry to stick it in her mouth, are you using the pill shooter or just opening her mouth and sticking it in

Bee is doing good...her ears are better today but still a bit bruised from my lack of skills. I am doing ok, but nervous most of the time. I live alone so it all fall on me heh. How are you? and how is Dusty? No more black is good news but i know he wasn't eating at that time. How is his appetite?
