Morning.

We're starting at 198 AMPS so here we go. The first thing I saved is the suggestions
for feeding and testing to keep him above the danger zone. I have fed him extra
this morning. He had his regular LC food and I gave him the PureBites tuna and
salmon in water, which he loves.
Testing again +1 and will try to keep him above 50 this time. :nailbiting:

I'm not sure that will work Mogs. I have others that eat at 3:30.which would be +7. I could give him a little but he's been eating all day and every cat has begged for food each time I fed Blue. Do you have any other ideas?

I could maybe feed + 6?

Yes, it would help a lot! I'm just not sure what to do. I make most of my appt. in early afternoon. If it's a matter of keeping him level I could feed some and then his meal would be a little less when I feed the others. Will that work? I have been waiting to go out and I could give him something before I leave. This is hard to manage. Plus I'm on poo watch with Layla.

It's be worth a try, Patty, but best to do it on a day when you're home to monitor just in case it might change the pattern of Blue's numbers in the later part of the cycle. At the moment you've a feeding routine and history in the spreadsheet that you can judge Blue's safety by for when you need to go out.

I think the speed at which Blue drops is part of the puzzle. I also think he metabolises insulin really fast (hence my asking you above whether you could feed him a bit earlier in the cycle).

FWIW a drop of honey early in the cycle would have well and truly worn off before tonight's PMPS. (((Patty)))
