I meant to post this yesterday but the day got away from me as so many do. Yesterday was the 6th month anniversary of Boomer crossing. It feels like forever. One of my favourite memories.....I was making little pillows for posing my newborns when I was photographing them and I decided to make Boomer one. I placed it on the carpet, he walked right over to it laid down and put his head on it! I was thrilled! And he continued to use it on a regular basis. He took it to the bridge with him. I also loved when he decided that he wanted to bird-watch with me. I would go to the back door and he would come over and look up at me....obviously wanting to be picked up. And we would watch the birds together...I guess he had a better view from my arms lol He was such a character! He had a huge personality and certainly had his likes and dislikes, especially when it came to food I miss him so much. Some of my favourite Boomer pictures attached.
He was certainly a gorgeous boy! What a personality he had too! Carry the love for him in your heart forever...it'll help with the ache. Your pictures are beautiful.
I loved reading about Boomer— what a champ! I’ll echo Sue here—he was a gorgeous boy with a great personality. A one of a kind. It’s great that you have these photos— wonderful memories of a great cat.
Such beautiful pictures Judy, what a cute fluffy sweetheart he was. I love the one of him in his painter’s tape box! We miss him too.
I think I remember when you took most of those pictures. The story behind the cat in the square was hilarious. Such good memories of your sweet Boomer.
Boomer will never be forgotten, My melt hearts looking at these pics,my favorite is Boomer laying on the tree skirt under the Christmas Tree. Beautiful pics Judy ♥
Wendy, I tell that story about the carpet "box" every chance I get! I think I issued a challenge here lol and some cats did it; others did not. Our cat Allen also went into the box although it took him an extra day
Thank you! They bring back so many memories when I look at them, I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Usually it's a bit of both.
Judy, it is a joy to see these pictures of handsome Boomer. I love the one of him "working" at the computer. I know he is following your birding adventures and "helping" you get good shots. Happy memories always!
Judy, I wrote two days ago, and had connection problems, and lost what I wrote. From my first days on the forum, I fell in love with Boomer. His picture spoke to me. I enjoyed reading about his night time moves, and you placing him onto his spots, and how much or little he would call you during the night. You were his most excellent servant I was so sad when he became ill, which led to another OTJ, then flying free. Love the cardinals gracing you! Adore all the Boomer pictures, especially the one proving a cat may very well sit inside a taped area!! He truly was studying whatever was on the computer too! Such a beauty. And even professional pictures never do a feline true justice. Hope you and yours feel blessed and stay safe
Thank you for posting this ! I always looked forward to seeing Boomers beautiful picture when I checked the Lantus board when first joining this forum last year. I could tell he was full of life and quite the character between the pictures and the descriptions of his adventures! Beautiful cat and inspiring and beautiful owner ❤️.
Nice to see Boomer again. I never tried the box thing, will have to now. He is most gorgeous. Love the tuxies, I'm biased since I got one.
