    Hello,

I’m wondering if someone can help. Monty has 1U of insulin twice a day, we have just bought a 10ml bottle of insulin - how many ml is in 1U? I want to work out how long a bottle should last us in theory.

    Thanks.

Depends on the insulin. If it's a u 40 insulin like vetsulin or ProZinc then there are 40 units per ml, so 400 per 10 ml vial. If it's a u100 insulin like lantus or levemir then there are 100 units per ml or 1000 units per 10 unit vial.
