I have this 'useless knowledge' window on my google page, today's was:

Tests conducted by the University of Michigan concluded that while a dog’s memory lasts no more than 5 minutes, a cat’s can last as long as 16 hoursexceeding even that of monkeys and orangutans. No wonder your cat is still mad at you for kicking her off the bed last night.

    Interesting, huh?

Memory of what? I wonder. Our dog can find a bone he buried last year. And he remembers commands. Of course, even if the kitties remembered the commands, they wouldn't obey anyway. Thanks for the "useless knowledge".

I wonder how they measured that, exactly. That is interesting, thanks. :)
