Cleo 4/28 PMPS 297

This is NOT Urgent at all.
Cleo has a Vet appt this afternoon (@ am+7.5). Is there anything I should ask the Vet to do. Her last blood draw and urine analysis was on 2/22/2022. We did change foods since then. Is it worth it to ask for a full blood work?
Gracias in advance :cat:

Reading my mind as always! I was going to since I'm almost done with the ProZinc and you have pointed out the lack of duration.
Will you give the same amount of hand-holding in Lantus ;)?
Close! There are a few others that are better with Lantus; having used/helped with Vetsulin and ProZinc so long it's hard to shake those patterns from my brain....I usually end up being more conservative than I need to with Lantus. That said, I used Lantus/Levemir for about 7 months so I can definitely help quite a bit!

Lantus has some generics/cheaper alternatives now - "insulin glargine" and Semglee (though that has supposedly been discontinued I'm still seeing people get it). Basaglar is a cheaper biosimilar but not technically the same thing - though for nearly every cat it works the same. Then obviously you'd need U100 syringes, 0.3cc, half unit markings. I prefer shorter needles (5/16") but that's personal preference
