So my cats vetsulin had gone bad after i left it out.

I had basaglar to give him

prior to the change his numbers had already creeping up, but after only a few days on basaglar 1u, he is continuing to climb.

he was steady under 220 for about a month from diagnosed, crept up into the low 300s, now is sitting in Mid 400s, and his legs are now giving him issues.

thoughts on what to try or do?

go back to vetsulin, give it a few more days of basaglar, boost the dose?

my chart is not updated for the last day or 2

Basaglar is a depot insulin so it will take 5-7 days for the depot to build to see if the dose is a good one. Have you read the yellow sticky at the top of this forum on depot insulin? Most cats do much better on Basaglar. Give it some time. And please update your ss when you have time.
