Is it ok to give Bella some coconut oil to help her not be so constipated? I give her a little extra water and 1/8 teaspoon of Miralax in her meals but her BM’s are still hard. The only water she drinks is with her meals which can range from 2-6 cans a day. She only weighs 6 lbs.

Don't know about the coconut oil, Sharon, but there is lots of really helpful info at the following site:

This is a bit late for answering, but I have one cat that gets a bit of coconut oil as a treat at least twice a day. He loves it but I don't think it has any effect on his poop. My diabetic cat never eats it but recently switched from dry to wet food and the Miralax has helped keep his stool equivalent to the ideal poops he produced when eating dry food.
