He was frisky about it, but, without insulin he was dropping into the 70s/60s mid-day so we tried an OTJ trial. He ended up greens at PMPS consistently, and the blues we saw 4 days in a row were because we weren't feeding 2-3 hours before testing. We cured that except the one day he decided to eat the pizza crumbs left out. Oops! We did one final mid-day spot check on the last day (We were really tired, our power went out for 9 hours on 09/30 from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM) so we didn't get a morning test in the final day! We did a mid day test and were pleasantly surprised with the number
