? Does my cat's blood from my finger still count as a read?

I stuck my cat in the ear to get a glucose read but couldn't see any drops of blood. When I rubbed the ear to milk it, he got pissed but I ended up having quite a bit of his blood on my fingers so I used a little glob of that to take the glucose test. How accurate/inaccurate is that kind of read?

    Thanks so much!

If you don't have any blood coming out of your finger, I would say that it's accurate. But to be on the safe side, you can retest in an hour. If no blood comes out on the outside of the ear, I look at the inside of the ear. Somes the blood comes out there.

Probably good unless your hand was wet.
