I'll try an alpha prick now. The Libre literally just stalled. Turned phone off and back on. Solomon is just so "unpredictable " and I know he may just zip up to the 300's which is his norm. I think the fall was just good sleep and no grazing. Are you working today? Can you come home at any point during the cycle. Do you have time to stall? You will check the Libre with the handheld meter at AMPS, correct?
HiI would not skip the shot, but if you can get an AT reading we can decide about perhaps shooting a reduced dose. If you can’t then we still can decide, although our decision may not be as well-informed.
Acronyms? You mean AMPS? That’s just a.m. preshot (for this morning’s reading before you shoot.)I still don't know the acronyms - sorry.
He’s almost up to a number where you have previously shot 2.5 units.Hi
6:36 am central
He is alpha - 148
Yes the amps - my brain just can't connect. Lol Morning preshot reading I'll remember.Acronyms? You mean AMPS? That’s just a.m. preshot (for this morning’s reading before you shoot.)
I don’t trust the Libre completely. This past weekend we had a member who took his cat to the ER vet because the Libre kept saying kitty was in the 40s. He gave high carb and the Libre showed numbers dropping. He had been skipping shots for several cycles because of low Libre readings. At the ER vet the cat was over 700. The whole thing was a faulty Libre and the cat had skipped several shots as a result.
I think the sensor died and day early; I'm not sure. I'll replace and activate. Takes an hour to calibrate and my experience has been it's never accurate the first 36 hrs - exaggerated high readings. It's past 6:30am. I didn't inject. He’s almost up to a number where you have previously shot 2.5 units.
I don't have that set up yet but even if I did - I can't "leave" in the middle of 1:1 client appointments which is what the "job" is.Do you have real time data being sent to your phone from his Libre? So you can check it this morning while you’re away?
Just an FYI on that faulty Libre from this weekend.Acronyms? You mean AMPS? That’s just a.m. preshot (for this morning’s reading before you shoot.)

Sorry to hear the Libre failed (did it say sensor failed and instruct you to replace sensor?) or was it just not giving you no readings?I think the sensor died and day early; I'm not sure. HiI would at least give him something rather than nothing. Even one unit will keep him from climbing too high as a skipped shot. Sorry about the Libre.
@Suzanne & DarcyBut have a good day! I am happy that the Zobaline and him being in better numbers is helping the nerves in his hind legs to heal!
Unsuccessful attempts. Gave Solomon 2units.I would be sure to get an alpha trak reading at pmps (p.m. preshot test)
Edit :: if you mean a car fight for an alpha poke :: he was all ready to "pounce " - " I think NOT ."No drama this morning?
