? From needing to skip dose to insulin having no effect?!

I don't understand what is happening with Tux. He has been on 1 mg budesonide for IBD and we just reduced it to 0.5 mg tonight. Last night's PS was 155 on my pet meter/121 on my husband's human meter. I rechecked a few hours later and he stayed the same so no shot. Both the morning and evening PS today have been mid to high 400's and do not appear to be coming down much. Any idea what might be happening with Tux? Should I increase to 3.50u tomorrow morning? Thanks for your help!

The BGs today are most likely high because 1. Tux is bouncing from the blue numbers yesterday which he is no used to any more and 2. You skipped a dose last night.
No don’t increase the dose.
