Hi Everyone, My cat Gracie wa diagnosed a few months ago and is doing really well now. She has some fleas however. I am nervous about putting topical flea medicine on her as the nape area is where she typically gets her shots most of the time.

I don't want to hurt her, I'm afraid the medicine will really irritate her skin in this area.

Can anyone recommend good flea treatment options for diabetic cats?

I used the topical Frontline Plus for years with Bandit and never had an issue. Maybe just don't shoot in the exact spot where you've applied it for a day or two? Your shot just needs to be under the skin, it doesn't have to be exactly on the back of the neck.
