Harley was diagnosed with IAA in December. He went to the hospital and when he came back I was more interested in getting him feeling well than working with the IAA. Well, the time has come to work with his numbers.

I use lantus and have used regular insulin to get his really high numbers down. Has anyone used that combination. I try and give the R either at 2 am or 2 pm so it does not interfere with the peak of the lantus.

Can anyone guide me here? I try to give a bit of R when he goes over 350 (suggestion from vet).
