Skipper was doing great and his need for insulin was going down. I started to run out of Fancy Feast Salmon, so I added some FF Kitten Ocean Whitefish to each meal. Then I added Nulo chicken and herring. Finally, the Fancy Feast Salmon arrived so we're back on track with using the same food all the time. The foods aren't that much different in carbs and I used less than 1/4 with each meal so I didn't think it would affect his blood glucose number that much. This morning his PM+11 is 519. I try so hard to not do four shots and I check his fur very closely and I didn't see or smell any insulin after last night's shot. Sometimes I think the shot goes in his thick skin. He doesn't have a lot of fat on his neck. 1. I need tips to learn how to shoot correctly. 2. Is the vial of PZI really bad after 60 days? Does it just stop working altogether? My bottle is right at 60 days and I thought it lasted longer under proper care. How long have you used your bottle of PZI? Thanks for your guidance.
