Hello all!

I posted here back in 2021 when my boy Beanie was diagnosed with diabetes. Towards the end of 2021, He went into remission, For which I thank Tiki Cat wet food. He’s doing very well, However I’m concerned about what to do with his food.

Tiki Cat has been bought by General Mills, Which makes me a bit nervous. I really, REALLY don’t want to change Beanie’s food…But I’m left with two options…Change to a new food, or stay on Tiki Cat. What are your opinions?

If I’m going to change foods, I really like the idea of Rawz Chicken Paté. Any opinions on this food are highly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Friends!

I've seen a number of people feed Rawz food and be happy with it, or more properly their cats were. :cat:

If any changes are coming to Tiki Cat, it won't happen right away. Keep an eye on any changes in product packaging, look of product, and ingredients on the label. Tiki is a premium brand, if they change too much, they'll lose a lot of customers.

Thanks so much for your reply. I’ve stocked up for the next 3 months on his favourite Tiki Cat flavour, and I’m going to run it by his vet. I suppose thats true, people like Tiki Cat because it’s Tiki Cat. The moment it becomes anything other than what we know, I imagine it’s not gonna be well received!

Sometimes when a company buys out something the production is the same, but think stocking up on something that you know works is a good idea. I was wondering what in particular is wrong with general Mills?
