Hendrick 3/4 AMPS 226 +2.5 208 +3.5 196 +5 205 PMPS 339 +2.5 181 +3.5 150

Yes we are fine thanks. We have flooding in Sydney’s western suburbs, but we are on high ground. They have had a terrible time further north. The water rose so quickly and many people had to be rescued from their roof tops by helicopters and thousands of homes and businesses have been affected or destroyed by the floods. And the terrible toll on the farm animals and wildlife is just awful.

Glad you are on high ground and yes, the devastation has been heartbreaking. Fires, floods, or drought. It seems you Aussies are always battling one or the other...or all of the above!

It would be interesting to see if it would take the edge off of the downward momentum that occurs when bounce breaking and onset collide.

so did it work? maybe. PM +3 last night was 290 and this morning no bounce. Compare that to the night before when he plummeted to 154 at +3 and was in the red at AMPS, and the previous night is similar. However recently we have had AMPS numbers in the yellows a few times though so hard to say if it was the dietary adjustment last night or not.

Considering he is lower this morning than last night, he might be clearing the bounce and give you active cycle. I would start testing from +2 itself and not wait till +3.

ha, I was just having that discussion with myself because +2s usually don't reveal much action at all with him, typically you need at least a +2.5 to see any activity

BUT...there are also times when +2s show action. Never know with the sugar dance! However today I cannot test at +2, I have a meeting with a customer. Hopefully done quickly and I can test at like +2.25 or +2.5

sliding down nicely, gave LC snack

don't jump off that cliff buddy, lets just drift down into greenland

well, mission Gradual Decent is largely a success today but I also feel like he's not going to do any green surfing because I offset the insulin so much

however, if we can have the AM cycle be nice and smooth and no PM bounce, that sets up some PM greens possibly

He's pretty flat.
Did you get your wife to shoot or test yet? :)

yes we've made lots of progress there. She did the PM +3 for me last night actually and I went to bed early. Best night's sleep in 2 months!!

And she shot 2 of the last 3 doses. I can't recall who mentioned Sure Comfort syringes but they are winners in my book. I've tried several different brands at this point and these are the easiest to meter a dose, nice and smooth on the plunger, and slide in so gently he almost doesn't notice. The Utilcare syringes were NOT kind to him and you could feel almost a tearing-type feeling as you inserted. *shudder*

Yeah, I didn't like UltiCare either.

I'm a big fan of Sure Comfort syringes. I tried many different kinds and they all had bubbles or were not smooth to move around when trying to measure .25 units. :banghead: And they aren't terribly expensive either.

Hendrick has been looking better these days under your careful watch. I can see him getting to his "right" dose soon. I can feel it. :)
