On days when I have too much spare time (every day) I have a perverse way of dealing with phone spammers. Obviously it won't work here. Just keep egging them on but have a lot of life's interruptions; the baby just spit up on me, the dog wants out, this stupid pen never works. They hope you're stupid before they even call but if you take it to another level they will never call back. Stupid is as stupid does!
If a spammer hits a million IP addresses and only five people reply they've had a good day. Licking stamps, making phone calls or going door to door takes time and effort. This is the lazy but sometimes effective way of reaching into your wallet. Like your mom always said, don't talk to strangers.
This may only apply to older versions of Microsoft mail and/or some versions of Explorer but spam is annoying wherever you are. It was possible at one time for spammers to disguise the "from" address with anything they wanted to make up like "yourbanksecurity". If you right click a piece of mail or the Home icon and then left click Properties you'll see where the message or website actually originated. Please do not take that as an absolute truth, it was just an oddball thing I learned in a security class and might help you build your Block Sender list.
