I saw an email from the Feline Assisted Feeding Yahoo Group I belong to about this. I have used the Iams Maximum Calorie as it is 333 calories per 6 oz can and low carb.

I bought a few cans last year when Ginger was eating, thinking I may have to assist feed her, but didn't have to. I just bought a case of 12 cans from Chewy.com before they sell out. Amazon listed 12 cans as $39.89 and both Chewy and PetFoodDirect have them in stock and on sale for 12 cans for $17.38.

It's too bad. I just wanted to let everyone know, in case they use the products and haven't heard yet, to stock up now before they're gone.

It looks like they reformulated all the foods they offer as well. Iams kitten used to have a very high calorie content as well and was a good substitute for the max cal, now website says 105cal/8oz which is very low.

Wellness Complete Health kitten is a good replacement - 244cal/6oz. Wellness complete health chicken has 240cal/6oz. Evo 95% with duck has 204cal/5.5oz.
