Am having behavior issues between 2 cats after dental work. Trying to get them to like each other again through reintroduction.

Older sugar Jack the Cat (in remission) has been hissing and hiding from my other cat Rufus. Tried to get them reintroduced with freeze dried chicken treats which they both love.

But Jack now associates those treats with Rufus and refuses them.

Am thinking of trying chicken baby food as a treat.

Just wonder if anyone has ever fed their sugar cats baby food and if it is ok for diabetic cats?

    Hi Jane,

Some baby foods are safe for cats (no onions, garlic, chives). Indeed, some people offer them when a kitty has appetite issues and won't eat anything else. There are some suggested ones at the following page on Tanya's Site:

As always, be sure to check the ingredients on the jar before purchasing (sometimes formulations change so always good to double-check!).

Yes, I will. It will only be for treats not his normal meal. Thanks.

Anyone of these flavors is fine, I have used them in the past. Got them in the supermarkets
