    Hi everyone!
Leo (8 years old) was diagnosed earlier this month. Just got everything in and took his first BG (relion prime) which came in at 137. He has never had insulin, and has not been eating for most of the week. I am worried that we recieved a false diagnosis or something else is wrong. Should I keep monitoring his BG (every 3-4 hours)? I'm really uncertain of what to do any help is appreciated!!

Sounds like you need help with the not eating first. I'd recommend you make a new thread in Health and welcome, and make a 911 tag. It might be serious when cats aren't eating.

When was the last time he ate? Not eating can cause fatty liver and become serious. You may need to water down food and feed him with a feeding syring.
