    Mal, did you switch back to caninsulin? I was reading the notes for today, or yesterday, and they say "back to caninsulin levels". Do you just mean the hight dose? You might want to edit that to clarify so folks aren't thinking you switched back...unless you did?

    Also, now that he is at 2.5u I would suggest raising in .25u amounts so that you don't pass an optimal dose. And if you test, which I hope you are still trying to do, aim for nadir times so you can see how low he is going.

    The problem right now with the urine glucose monitoring is that it may read "max" but he is actually swinging from high BG, to very low and back again - but the average is high and that is what shows up in the urine. Same thing with the fructomsine test - only an average over two weeks or so.

    Oh, sorry, I meant *IF* you are going to raise the dose again. Yeah, I agree about letting 2.5u settle for a while.
