? Medical newbie whack-a-mole INSULIN STORAGE

    Hello
    Something new occurred to me…. should my insulin pen have oxygen in it?
    I thought the answer was no

    If you use a syringe to to draw insulin out of a pen some air gets into the pen. It should not have any effect since if you use a vial you inject air into the vial equal to the insulin you want to draw out

    It's not uncommon to have a few bubbles. You just don't want to inject air into the pen.
