Misty's curve high and flat, what to do?

Hi,
Misty has been on 1.5 units for a few days. I'm feeling very discouraged, we haven't seen good numbers in a while now. What should I do with her dose?

It looks to me like your kitty needs a dose increase. You would br raising the dose to 1.75u.

Thanks Sienne. I can do another curve tomorrow on the 1.75u, will that tell us anything about the new dose or should I wait longer?

I hate to waffle on a response but it's variable depending on the cat and how your cat responds to insulin. Some cats will have a quick response -- and that's certainly possible with Prozinc. Other cats can take a few cycles for the dose to settle in a bit. It looks like you're not home during the work week. How about splitting the difference so you have data regarding how Misty responds to a dose increase? You could test every 3 hours.
