I'd suggest checking at +1 for a food bump and also at +2 for onset of the dose, unless numbers dictate she's on her way down at +1 in which case check again at +1.5. Will set an alarm to check in with you in 40 minutes.

Keep safe while you're out, Sally. :bighug:

When I got back she hadn’t eaten her American Journey food that she liked yesterday. I tried hand feeding and she ate a little. I switched to Friskies Pate and again her highness ate just a little out of my hand.:banghead: I will keep trying and test her in about 10 min.

Glad to see the rise at +1.

It's early in the cycle so absolutely yes, definitely do what you can to get Lily to eat. Please keep me posted with how she's doing on the food front, Sally, so that I can relate it to where she is in the cycle.

I think the Noodle may have a URI and can't smell the CKD kibble: it's quite bland. Warmed a portion of it earlier and she ate a couple of mouthfuls. Earlier this morning she wouldn't touch it at all. :( She will eat Temptations treats so she has an appetite as such. I think they are more aromatic too.

C'mon, Lily, eat your fudz for your mama!

No luck on eating yet. She is 166 at +2.

Have you got any gravy foods? Maybe give her a teaspoon of the gravy to see if she'll take that? It's early in the cycle and her BG is starting to come down so she needs something to balance the insulin.

Please let me know if you can get her to take it. Also please look at the following link to see if she's showing any signs of nausea when you offer her any food:

No doesn’t seem to be nauseous at all. She is eating the gravy. Of course she would like that!

She is 163 at +3.

When Max was nauseous, before FD, he lapped up the gravy and would eat a little dry. I was surprised when it was suggested he might be nauseous. Cats are tricky.

Good girl, Lily! :cat:

See if she'll take another small feed of FF at +6 to tide her over for the rest of the cycle (unless numbers dictate additional action is needed).

Still struggling badly with Lúnasa. I'm fearful that she's developed an aversion to the Virbac CKD kibble (and I've just bought two 3kg of the stuff). At least Saoirse would try to eat for me. Lúnasa just flat refuses to touch the kibbles. :(

I'm so glad that Lily's eating for you, Sally, and that comes straight from the heart.

Thinking about your sweet Lúnasa and hoping she will eat for you soon. Lily is 181 at +6.5 and I am trying to feed a little FF.

It's bringing back a lot of memories of Saoirse's struggles when she was having a pancreatitis flare. (((Saoirse)))

Glad to see Lily's numbers held up into a good, safe range (probably helped by the gravy earlier). I hope she'll eat a little more FF.

Lily is at 225 PMPS. I am going ahead and give her the insulin tonight.

Hi Sally,

Just checking in to ask how yourself and Lily are doing today? I see from last night's news that she ate better at PMPS (two doses in a day!). How's her appetite today?

Hi Mogs! She is doing well today, eating normally. I, however, think I gave her a shot without the drop this morning! It is so hard to tell because on my syringes the black line has no give after it. And the drop is so hard to get because I don’t want to give her too much.

She is 212 at +5.

You guys doing ok today?
