Hello all This morning Ziggy being in a defiant mood knocked his ProZinc insulin on the floor without me noticing, I then noticed the dog happily running around with something in his mouth and of course... it was the insulin (thankfully none came out and the dog is unharmed!) My question is I have read that shaking this insulin or turning it upsidedown is bad and could mean the insulin loses effectiveness - does anyone have any experience of this?! Will I get away with this one catastrophic shaking, or is the bottle ruined? On that point too, I notice a few places sell prozinc online and the "recommendation" from manufacturer is to keep it upright, but that online outlets say that they do not guarantee this is the case transit. Does anybody get their insulin from similar sources and had any issues like this? Thanks!
