Hello everyone, I am a new poster here but have been lurking lately and I'm thankful for all the advice. My kitty is on Prozinc (had been in remission for 2 years after only 2 months but is mysteriously needing insulin again recently, so I am still trying to figure this whole thing out ...) and upon taking it out of the fridge tonight, I noticed it looked quite separated pre-mix. His other bottle never looked like this (to the best of my knowledge). It mixes up to a normal opacity (no clumps, no floaters). Any thoughts on whether or not this is okay? He is on a new dose within the last few weeks (and fluctuating quite a bit while we try to figure out his proper dose) so it's hard to know if I've lost regulation. Thank you!
It's been a few months since I've had a Prozinc vial but I think it's just settled on the bottom. The vial's not that old right? Here's a link with similar questions: https://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB...cloudy-with-white-clump-at-the-bottom.192247/
Thanks for that link! Yes, it's only about 3 months old and looks great and normal when I roll it. I will continue to test his BG -- I'm probably just being overly cautious. Thank you
