SRS problems - accidental radiation overdoses in humans

    This post isn't intended to be alarmist, but there was an article in today's NYT on accidental radiation overdoses to human patients who underwent stereotactic radiosurgery. All incidences occurred on Varian linear accelerators that were retrofitted for SRS.

    I don't know whether CSU uses the Gamma Knife or a retrofitted linear accelerator; if Gamma Knife, the info in this article may not be at all relevant. I found it interesting reading nonetheless.
