Hey guys, I am new here and I am just starting on the treatment journey with a cat. Unfortunately the cat have gone undiagnosed for a long time and is under 5 lbs or 2,5 kgs, so time is of the essence.
thr cat has been put on caninsulin. Initiaaly with a very small dosage of 0.01, then increased to 0.025 ml, then i started 0.050 today. But i see the same pattern again and again. She gets the insulin and drop down toward 300, then after about 5 hours it starts going back up. Any idea why? She’s been treated with insulin for 3 days, I’ve home monitored her glucoselevels for 2 days.
I am rawfeeding her VOM, I’ve taken away her dry food.
i am feeling a bit hopeless now.
