Syringes for adjusting vetsulin dose

    I am needing to give Elmo .75 vetsulin and would like advice on how best and most accurately to do that. I can eyeball for now but wondering if there is a better way anyone has found ?? Thanks a million ahead of time for ur knowledge and advice.

    When using a U40 insulin such as Vetsulin at lot of people find it easier to do dose increases in smaller increments by using the U100 syringes and using the conversion table:

    If you are wanting to do 0.75 of vetsulin in a U100 syringe you could use 2.0 units of Vetsulin with the U100 syringe which would be the equivalent of 0.80 units of Vetsulin with the U40 syringes. It is a little more accurate than trying to eyeball the dose. I hope this makes sense to you
