Picked up some orijen tundra treats at petpeople today. Anyone know the carb value on these things? Ingredient list looks promising, but I still have a hard time wrapping my head around guaranteed analysis figures (in general).

Ingredients.
Wild boar liver, wild boar, goat liver, venison liver, goat, venison, arctic char, mixed tocopherols (preservative)

GA.
Crude protein min 45%
Crude fat min 35%
Crude fiber max 1%
Moisture max 5%

China's favorite treat in the world was their Wild Boar treats!! They're low carb and fine to use!

The ones you have are fine too.....all you really have to do is look at the ingredient list...they are all protein sources.....no cereals, grains or starches so it's fine!!

Just a helpful note.....buy the dog treats....they're the exact same as the cat treats but they're cheaper per ounce! Just crumble them up a little if they're too big!

Good to know! I was amazed that our youngest (civvie) is crazy for these! He's not very food motivated and always looks on wistfully when his brothers play the chasing treats game. Gato also really liked them as a post test munch. :cat:

We use these as our treat launchers, been picking them up at Renaissance festivals the past few years. We affectionately refer to them as 'treatapults'. The brothers LOVE running to find the flung treats, and I was disheartened to realize their Blue treats are not as wholesome as they look for sugarbub. These treats should make a nice substitution!

Very popular here, too. The flavors are really quite different. Thos likes them all. The babies mostly just the Original flavor, sometimes Regional Red.

The Originals are real crumbly. I will often sprinkle a bit over a cat's meal, to help ensure it will be eaten.

ETA: After putting up with the ear poke, Thos always gets five or six Orijin treats. Sometimes more, when he gives me the look.
