Throwing up foam- related to pancreatitis?

My (almost 16 yr old) cat has started phases of throwing up foam early in the morning-a little before it's time to eat (she gets food/shot at 5:30AM). She is only on .75u.
I do leave out some food before I go to bed (so not sure if it's due to empty stomach- doesn't seem like it is?).
She did it off and on for a week at the end of last month, and has been doing it again for the last week. She also seems somewhat even pickier than usual as far as eating.
She has pancreatitis -we were at vet in early May and lipase # was 7.2 She also has severe arthritis and constipation issues.
Wondering if the foam could be pancreatitis related? And what I should try to get/do going forward? What to request from vet? And any recommendation for food that might be better to give her (although we've tried everything under the sun....she's super picky).

I think it is most likely due to having an empty tummy. My Sheba used to do that sometimes. I had an automatic timer and gave her a small snack about 3 or 4 am and that seemed to solve the problem.
She also suffered from pancreatitis periodically and it did not seem to be elated to that.

If the only test the vet ran was a lipase level, that is not the test that's recommended for testing for pancreatitis. You want an fPL. Either the blood needs to be sent out (Spec fPL) or there is a Snap fPL that the vet can do in the office -- it give a value of either "+" or "-". These are feline pancreas specific lipase tests but not the same as the lipase level that is often included in a blood panel.
