I have a thread in the main forum but should probably switch over to here since we are at the stage of trying to get to the right dose range and the shock of the diagnosis and everything involved with it has calmed down. Starburst doesn't do well with BG testing...I think in the end I could get 2- 4 readings a day with minimal drama. Initially I tried to do a curve on 1 unit and her numbers were still through the roof. So here we are, she's at 3 units and I am torn between going ahead with 3.5 units or the traditional 3.25 for her next increase (I had been increasing 0.5 units based on recommendations here since she hadn't seen any blues or greens prior). She has now seen a few readings at blue, but nothing under 150 yet and with the libre I can truly catch a full curve (assuming the libre doesn't stop working) and see how low she is going pretty quickly. Would you recommend go to 3.25 or 3.5 units for the next increase?
