Well i accidentally left the new bottle of vetsulin out over night and Tuxs numbers show it went bad (he went from low 300s up to low 500s).

So i was given a tube of badaglar for free so I'm using that as of tonight.

I'm reading all of the info in this forum, and starting low.

I'll test at +3 & +6 is what it looks like I should do

I'll get my tracker updated as well

Hello and welcome. Good luck with the swap to Basaglar. 1 unit was a good dose to start. Do you have the U-100 syringes with 1/2 unit markings?

If you are interested in the Start Low Go Slow method of dosing, do you mind putting SLGS in the signature - that'll help us help you faster.

You might want to investigate getting different syringes. This Sticky Note lists some of the common ones available in the US: Insulin Care & Syringe Info: Proper Handling, Drawing, Fine Dosing
Our dose changes would be typically by 0.25 units (eyeball those) or at most 0.5 units so those half unit syringes are much easier to use.
