Wondering about low numbers

Hi everyone
Tansi's numbers are often in the normal range for the last few days, but occasionally they are below normal.
What does the below normal numbers mean?
He hasn't had insulin in 4 days with the exception of .5 lantus on one occasion. Is he starting to make his own insulin again and could he still have some in the depot from the huge doses of 3 units previous?
I am a little worried something else is going on, because healthy cats never go hypo unless given insulin?
Or us this a good sign that his pancreas is starting to produce again?
I would appreciate any input you may have.
Also many thanks @Bandit's Mom for working tirelessly on getting my spreadsheet going.

Wow, Cindy! The food change has worked wonders!!!! We have seen cats go off insulin from a food change and looks like Tansi is headed there.

I think the previous depot should be out of the picture now. As long as you don't give insulin, you needn't worry about low numbers.
Some cats run low so don't worry about the numbers below 3.8.

I am sharing the spreadsheets of a couple of cats who went off insulin from a food change. See how low they were without insulin.

Keep monitoring Tansi. If he is able to stay in normal numbers without insulin for 14 days, he is considered to be in remission! :)
