Hi Everyone,

We are having a major snowstorm. Just in time for the Full Snow Moon (tomorrow)!
Rusty had a good night and this morning we had a schmooze & snooze and he is now chillaxing on his perch over the radiator. Temperature is hovering around Zero degrees.

The outcome of the SuperBowl came was amazing! We had stopped watching the game for a while so that we could watch "Downton Abbey" and just tuned back in at the very end. WOW!

The birds are at the feeders (a flock of Redpolls arrived yesterday and they and the flock of Goldfinches are enjoying the nyger seeds and the black-oil sunflower seeds). Didn't see the deer this morning. They may have stayed overnight in the forest on the nearby small mountain (they seem to split their time between the mountain and our wooded backyard).

Wishing all a fine day. According to the reports, Pauxytonic Phil (the Groundhog) saw his shadow, so we are in for 6 more weeks of winter. (Of course Phil lives in Pennsylvania; here in the North Country we will have many more than 6 more weeks of winter!)

Ella & Rusty

Yo Kitties! Tomorrow night is the Full Snow Moon and we will be having our Full Moon Party at Camp Stu, which has tons of snow. Come to my house today to plan the party while we sit on the radiators, watch the snow fall, and sip hot tuna toddies and munch cimmamum buns. All invited to the planning session. I have 2 long radiators.

Morning Ella :coffee::coffee::coffee:

What a nice start for Rusty. I suspect the lagoon will get his attention soon.

wow on that weather! COLD, SNOWY, and I bet pretty despite the temps.

WOW on the game! OMG says it well... I had hoped they would have played that last yard differently, probably could have won it if they had done the run, but so goes football. Sure was an exciting and well played game. :woot:

Yupp, heard that Phil saw his shadow.... more winter!

Have a great day today, stay warm! I hope all goes well there.

RUSTY! DUDE! We are all ready!!! bring on the snowy full moon. We gots lots of fleece and scarves and hats and mittens! See ya for the planning party! I want them cimmamum buns... ~~ Elsa

Hey Sir Rusty! Looks like you've got the 'stay warm' thing down to an art! Bootiful day for a bootiful boy!

YUCK on the shadow - I SO hope he's wrong! I don't envy you the snow one bit - you can have my share too. I can't wait to see pics of the ice sculptures tho'....those are just beautiful. The Cedar Waxwings are migrating thru here right now - they only stay about a week but there's hundreds of them! SO striking with that black mask....

Didn't watch the game but guess we should have watched the last few minutes - sounds like it was exciting.

STAY WARM! HUGS!

Purrfect Rusty day! Nice slide!

I just saw the last few minutes too (I wasn't sure when the Blacklist would start ) just in time to see that amazing catch and then the interception!

Oh Rusty yes please on your chicken soup! And a nice snuggly place on the radiator! -- Tess

Save me a spot on the radiator...and a couple of cimmamum buns too!! I'm on my way to help plan! (of course with all that snow, you might not see me!!...better see if I can find a bow to wear!) ~ China

Very nice cycle today Rusty!! Want to come have a talk with China and Max about how it's supposed to be done?? They seem to have forgotten the instructions!!

Sunny, 55F here today. Winter's over. :( Nicely done, Rusty. Did you eat your lung treat too?
Liz

Yup, had my lung treat; didn't like my Wild Calling Chicken and waited my mamabean out until she switched it for FF T&G. Now I'm sleeping in my little bed in mamabean's study. I decided to come upstairs today because my bgs are rising before the usual time. I needed to climb some stairs for exercise.
We had a good group on the radiators today to plan for tomorrow's Full Snow Moon Party. We have lots of SNOW!! And it's still snowing.

Very nice "curve" Rusty. How 'bout explaining to the Polly girl how those numbers are supposed to go. She finds one she likes and then just flattens out holding on to it. Girl's got to get some curves.

Really enjoy your descriptions of the winter in the "North Country." Brings back so many wonderfully quiet images of time spent at a friend's cabin in Wisconsin's "Up Nort." Miss those days.

Here, 70s rolling in for the week. Guess winter by-passed the high desert this year. Very little snow pack in the mountains. Another summer of drought, I guess.

Rusty, the gotcha cake was scrumptious. Hmm? Wonder if that's why my numbers are creeping down today?

I'll be there for the Snow Moon party. Coming early to help with set up. I can do clean up, too. Crumbs, especially. Getting my gear lined up for early departure tomorrow. Polly

We got over a foot of snow down here in Albany, so I can only imagine what you are getting up there! It must be lovely to look at...especially from the comfort of a warm radiator. I hope you and Rusty have a nice night!

Rusty is trending upward tonight. He may be a bit under the weather. Maybe the Wild Calling chicken didn't agree with him. He's been sticking unusually close to me all day.

Thanks for visiting, everyone. See you tomorrow,

Ella & Rusty

Sorry I couldn't make the planning session, Rusty, but I'll be there for the party. Please save me some cimmammum buns. I can help Billie with clean up. Mama says I gets plates so clean she doesn't have to put them in the diswasher! - Cinco

PS: What's a radiator?

I hope Rusty is ok. Gracie didn't like the chicken either. I also worry a bit about the green lip mussel but am hoping it's ok since its not really fish.....

What a game, huh! I decided to go for the Pats before the game started....fickle....;)

Vines for Rusty - hope it's not anything, just an off evening.

Hey Rusty, you have too much tuna toddies today? Dey was great! Sushi knives are all ready ta go. ~Neko
