Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty had a good night and his breathing really improved over the course of yesterday. Fingers and paws crossed. Thanks for all the comments on raw fuds in Rusty's condo yesterday. Lots to think about.

It is still snowing and is supposed to snow through Monday. It is beautiful, light, fluffy snow. We are about to go downtown to see some of the "events" of Winter Carnival (ladies' frying pan toss; woodsman exhibition). Later today we'll go to see the Ice Palace and take some pics.

Wishing all a great weekend,

Ella & Rusty

Yay for a good night. That's a nice start today. I hope Rusty slides down to the lagoon. Enjoy the Winter Carnival.

Sounds really good, Ella. Rusty, keep that congestion at bay. You guys have a great time at the Carnival. Love the idea of a frying pan toss. Watch out for any errant throws!

Yay for better breathing yesterday! Hope it continues for him. Sounds like a great time coming up at the Carnival and Ice Palace. Love to see some pics!

That is such a relief that Rusty is feeling better and no more coughing/congestion! And look at that slide into the lagoon- woot! :D:D

I am sorry I didn't get back online last night, but in answer to your question, yes, I have purchased Rad Cat, I found a great pet store near home, but I have not fed it to Tiger yet. That was so great that @Chris & China provided feedback and pictures, very much appreciated. Also great to get everyone's input. Did you know that @Ann & Tess started a thread in Tech Support about starting a Food Forum, no not like the Cooking Channel LOL  But a place where we can list foods and their values, plus a place for discussion. It is my understanding that discussions are to be started in the Think Tank. Anyway, I hope you are able to give it a try on your next food shopping trip, I plan to try it and will let you know how it goes.

Looking forward to seeing your pics from the Festival- I wouldn't mind seeing some of your old photos from the 60's either :smuggrin: Have a great day Ella- Peace, Love and Flowerpower! :D:p

Here, in response to many requests, an authentic picture from the late '60s. Who are these people anyway?

Well, at least one of those people does not look happy. Whether it's about having his picture taken or about his attire, I can't say. :p Thanks for sharing!

Glad to see the LagooonMeister on duty. I think Cinco is angling for a job as his assistant or something, he's been spending so much time there! Not that I'm complaining!

I'm glad Rusty is breathing better. Sending vines to keep it that way. Looking forward to pics from the Carnival!

Hi Ella :)

I had a shirt like that once.... o_O:eek: I so remember those days. Love the pic though! Too fun!

I hope Winter Carnival was fun, bet it was. Looking forward to some pics too.

Have a great evening!

Awesome photo! I hope you are enjoying the Winter Carnival! I just had a thought as I was planning my next cat food shopping extravaganza - I know you're a bit of a hike from my neck of the woods, but next time you are passing through down the Northway, this might be worth a pit stop. There is a great pet store called Benson's where I have been able to find almost every kind of cat food including Hound & Gatos, Ziwipeak, Dave's, etc. I know they also have a nice raw selection but I am not sure what raw they carry regularly. They have 3 locations - the one in Saratoga is the farthest north. http://www.bensonspet.com/ I'm glad Rusty's breathing has been better!!

ETA: They have more locations than I knew about and one is in Queensbury! Definitely closer than Saratoga.

Hi again,
Thanks for the visits. Rusty was unenthusiastic about food today and also walked away from his lung treat. Otherwise he was fine. His nighttime food has been set out and I hope he eats most of it (he usually does).

@Deanna & Billie : Thanks for the tip on Benson's. Saratoga is a bit of a hike from here (more than 2 hours) but it is good to know about. There are a bunch of stores in the Burlington VT area that are closer (but, of course, a ferry is involved). My best bet is to wait until we go to NYC, where I have time to browse.

@Tiger and Ruth : Thanks for the food info. It would be beneficial to many of us if we had a food thread.

Wishing all a good evening. We spent some of it watching "The Philadelphia Story" on TCM. I love that movie!

Maybe Rusty needs some 60s duds too! Hope appy is happy overnight!

I still have (and wear) the same 60s style jeans and belts as in your picture. Funny how jeans stay in style. Thank god the paisley pattern was short lived.
