Good Morning, Everyone,

It's still cold here, but the snow is gone. It's just damp and gray. We plan to get out to do some walking today, maybe some yard work if the rain holds off. Rusty plans to chillax in his perch over the radiator, and is there already. He had a good night sleeping between his beans with his head on his little green pillow. It looks like the LagoonMeister was on duty during the nighttime hours (he was poised at the edge of the lagoon at bedtime).

We are horrified seeing the pictures from Katmandu and from the base camp at Everest. What a catastrophe!

The Katmandu pictures are awful. My nephew was just there a few months ago.:(
 
I hope you get to go out and get some yardwork done. Rusty would love it too. Silly Tess snuck out in the rain yesterday. Then looked up like "What is THAT!!!"

What devastation. Thankfully the have the airport open now.

I agree about the earthquake. So devastating.
 
So Rusty settled down and didn't go up any further. No yard work or outdoor time for Rusty. It was too damp and cold. But Edward and I had a good walk to the shore of Kiwassa Lake. Last week when we did this walk the lake was frozen. Today it was free of ice, despite the cold weather.

Mets and Yankies game just beginning. Let's go Mets! I'm multi tasking this evening.
 
We have 200 Australians there that are currently unaccounted for :( not that it matters what countries the people are from but it does make it more personal.

Whatcha doing Rusty, the lagoon isn't iced over either so off you go!
 
Saddness multiplied by the horror of the earthquake in Nepal. Such a tragedy.

Now, Rusty. You have a title to maintain, you know. Keep that in mind and drift downward.

Rusty is coming down and may be in the lagoon soon. He's reversed his nights and days, it seems.

Ahh, Rusty. It's easy to get your days turned around when it's grey and cold out. Feels like night when it's day. By now you should be presiding over the lagoon. Cinco is having a swim, so I count on you to keep an eye out for sharks.

Sorry your team lost, Ella. My driver had a bad day today, too. Guess it's all a matter of perspective, though. Nothing in comparison to what's happening on the other side of the world. :(

Sorry I missed you yesterday. Looks like Rusty had a decent day, poised for the lagoon. Maybe today Rusty?

Your walk sounds nice. Nice too in that the lake is no longer frozen. Maybe spring is actually coming soon?
