Hi Everyone,

Getting a late start: we took advantage of our cancelled paddle and all went btb! Rusty had a good night, ate all of his nighttime food (most just before AMPS), ate all of his breakfast (most just before +5) and is bouncing from the greens he had yesterday. This was to be expected. Hopefully he'll remember those greens and get back on track soon.

We all slept really well last night under our quilts (temperature was 39 degrees here this morning). The wind is still blowing hard. We expected this when checking the weather reports yesterday, so we cancelled the paddle we had planned to lead today. It is just too cold and windy. Even now (early afternoon) the temperature has only made it up to 45 degrees! We may have a fire in the woodstove this evening.

It's amazing how fast they forget that greens are good. Back to Liver Training School for Rusty! The lagoon awaits.

Bummer on the weather, but even more so on the cancelled paddle.:( Hope you get a chance to reschedule soon. At least you got a btb out of it.
 
Bummer about the weather. We had taken our winter quilts off the bed last month had th cleaned and put away but 2 nights ago we pulled one back out! MN weather is weird to.

Rusty they are missing you at the lagoon!
 
Hey Rusty!! Just because you have deputy LagoonMeister/Mistress in training doesn't mean you can abandon your post! Better hurry back to the lagoon soon and complete their training!!

Sorry about missing the paddle, but I'm betting when you saw the temps, you were happy not to be out on the water! I had to kick my furnace back on last night here too
