Good Morning, L&LL,

Well, this AMPS number looks like Rusty may have gotten another fur shot last night. But neither Edward nor I smelled Lev. Of course it could be a bounce :cat:. Otherwise all is well here. I'm going to run through my "program" a few times. Last night I had to do some last-minute tinkering with the photographs. When projected on a large screen the effect was not optimal (most of the photographs are extremely faded).

Wishing everyone a fine day and continuing to send vines to all in need.

Good thing is Rusty always recovers quickly from either a bounce or a FS. The other night I smelled Lev big time and by Doodles numbers it wasn't a FS. Hope your presentation goes well and you all have a good day.

Adding to the vines for Rusty to even out today.

Faded looking photos are vintage photos and adds to the magic.

There's a peace sanctuary nearby, formerly the home and land of 19th century/early 20th century explorer Mary Jobe Ackley. Her home is now a combo museum and nature center. Years ago one of the interns found boxes of her glass plate stereoscope pictures that she used with a projector while touring to raise awareness about the wilderness and raise funds for expeditions. We attended a presentation of these pictures that, other than contemporizing for the projection technology, were unmodified. Amazing: faded by time, some still with signs of naturalistic hand painting. Draws you in. Brought me back to her time and her journeys.

Morning Ella! :coffee::coffee::coffee: Or is it afternoon? ;)

Rusty, dude! What are you doing on the yellow floor? Furshot, or maybe you just wanted a day off from all your lagoon duties. Lola thinks it is because you are sampling and tasting all the fuds being prepared and tested for her Catio Christening party this week... :cat: Well, best try for the lagoon, make sure that the rookies are doing OK. All three here are so very busy getting ready for Lola's party. Should be one for the books....:eek::nailbiting:o_O:joyful::joyful::joyful:

Good luck with your presentation. I seemed to have missed what this is on? I agree with HWright, that "Faded looking photos are vintage photos and adds to the magic." What is written there is true. It does drawn you in. I wish you much success! is this presentation this week?

Things are going well here in the Land of the Three Musketeers. Lola, Bug and Vanessa are all well, and waiting anxiously for warmer weather, and spring. Lola has escaped a couple more times since the last grand adventure where she got out and we had no clue... Catio build starts on Tuesday, with material being delivered on Monday. We are all so excited, and really hope that the three here love it. I have no doubt that Lola will be all over it, Bug and Vanessa will in time, once they figure out the cat door. HAHA on that. Lola already opens everything else (no surprise there), so I am sure she will be in it once the cat door is installed. It should be a very exciting week here for the kitties.

We, the humans here, are finally getting healthy... William caught a cold a few weeks back, and last week that hit us beans with a vengeance. I even lost my voice! Last Wednesday, during swim lessons, William came down with some sort of stomach bug, and spent two days with an awful case of pukus (we wont mention what he did in that regard to the pool Wednesday night o_O:facepalm::eek::oops:). On the good side, he is now well, Nicholas never really caught it, Erin and Jason are more or less over the cold, never did get the flu part, and I am finally functional. HAHA. Even better, it all seems to have escaped DH, which is a huge relief. YAY! We are now all healthy again. Double YAY!

Nicholas continues to do well in school, very well actually. Academically he is leading the class, in math and spelling, loves his computer tech labs, art and music. He is becoming one well rounded kid. YAY! William is right on his heals. We haven't had many adventures this past couple of weeks just due to all of us being under the weather at some point. Yesterday was my first "hike" in over two weeks, just to the local trail here at home. It was sunny, I felt so much better, so off I went. Hooray on that. Both Nicholas and William are still in the pool. loving their time there. Nicholas is not too sure he ever wants to do swim team, so we shall see on that. He has a tendency to say no to things he doesn't quite understand or are new to him. I hope to introduce the concept this summer maybe, when he will be eligible to do a very low key summer swim league, designed for young kids. We will see how he feels about it come summer. At any rate, all is well with the boys, in and out of the pool.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend! And Rusty, think GREEN!

Thanks, guys. My talk went really well and was well received. Rusty, of course, helped me in the preparation.

@Michelle and Mannie (GA) , It's late, so I'll answer your post tomorrow. I hope the catio materials are delivered. Rusty is looking forward to cooking for the party.

I guess it wasn't a fur shot, but just one of Rusty's bounces. He had a good day of numbers, despite the fact that his routine was interrupted.

'night all,

Yo, I've spent a lot of time in the lagoon today, supervising the sand castle building. Now I'm taking a break on shore. Deputy China, you're in charge for a while. (@Chris & China )

I bet Rusty was the purrfect host of the presentation. Did you parents have a cat too?
No, my parents always had dogs. I grew up with a Boxer named Kim.

The presentation was at our monthly meeting place in the Presbyterian Church, so Rusty didn't attend. But he helped in the "run through".
