Hi folks,

This morning I saw Junior struggling in the litter box again. He ate lightly but he ate. I think Jack will gobble the left overs. I got the heavier cisipride yesterday so I started him on a higher dose this morning. Hopefully that will help. I also finally got the renew probiotics yesterday so as soon as the fortiflora is gone I will start him on that to. Other than that all is well.

I am very sad for Les today as Gussie went ahead yesterday. One of the hardest things for me to do was come here and type that Scooter had passed. Tears make it very hard to type. I am sure Gussie has landed and so many of our GA kitties were there to great him. Today will be very hard for Les.

Happy day 13 Junior! Hope the new meds help with his poopy issues. Although this is the best place to be for FD, it's the saddest place at times. Keep eating your fuds little man.

I hope the meds help Junior poop. It is very sad at times here, but it's nice to have something good to celebrate too.

 

Update +5 not eating, +6 in the litter box again struggling. +7 ate 1/8 can.

I sat down and read all the directions for the higher dose cisipride. It comes with a plastic plug and the cartridge they send has markings on it and fits in the tiny hole perfectly! Tonight I went to give it to him again ".5ml twice a day 1/2 hour before feeding" so I asked for help since it seemed over whelming at supper time tonight and my wife filled the syringe to the top and gave it to me. hmm "that's way to much!" I exclaimed. "No that's the right dose hun" "really? that's not what I gave him this morning" "What did you give him?" "well I thought he was suppose to get to the first line .05ml" "hun I think its time for you to go to the eye doctor and we shouldn't put it off any longer". So Junior has been given the right amount of cisipride and I am expecting a big poop and lower numbers by morning. Poor Junior.
